Weekly Desktop Restart

IT conducts a weekly desktop computer restart. This restart happens on Fridays at 4:00 pm. Computers will only restart at this time if they have not been restarted within the 3 days before Fri at 4:00 pm.

If you restart your desktop yourself Wed 4:00 pm - Fri 3:00 pm, your desktop should stay on and not be restarted by the automated restart.

This applies to all desktop computers within the district. These computers are always connected which makes them the biggest security risk. This is being done to ensure our desktop computers are up to date. Many desktops haven't been restarted in weeks. Please make sure that you save everything you have open on Fridays.
